Wills, Trusts & Estates

Welcome to Trust & Probate Law

Who needs a Will? Do you have a Will? Is it current? If something happened tonight,
would things be in order? These are heavy questions about which people are often
unsettled, and timid.

The fact is, every adult needs a Will. If you have a large estate, you need a Will. On
the other hand, if you have a small estate, you still need a Will. If you have nothing,
you probably need a Will. That pretty well covers it. Everyone needs a Will. Why?

Well, unless you plan to have them put you in a great big box and mail you out of
town, you need to make arrangements for the day after. If you have a Will, things
will be much better. Ask a lawyer. He or she will explain.

When the time comes, there will be an agenda. Time marches on. Arrangements
will be necessary, and you can do it the easy way or not. With a Will, your wishes
will be fulfilled. Your loved ones relieved of the difficult ways of Intestacy, where it
is necessary to file a motion, have a hearing, and get a court order for everything.
